BMW TITANIUM TIGER
This project starts from BMW R100GS crashed in the road accident while performing a tour
The motorcycle was half-destroyed - front fork totally destroyed, frame partially damaged, engine partially damaged/disabled
In this condition, it was bought as scrap on a junk-yard, and there its restoration originates
First of all, engine was repaired to get a functional bike. And after that project did a pivot, final appearance was dramatically redesigned.
The main feature of the project was a solid shell, where the tank and tail combined together.
Few iterations of 3d-scanning and CAD works were performed to adjust final geometry.
In addition, the shell was made of titanium, which led to a lot of test work in order to achieve proper welding results
As well, custom titanium exhaust and titanium headlight cowl were made from scratch.
The motorcycle also got brand new electrical accessories set, front fork, several small titanium accessories, etc.
